Refund Policy

 

Note: All refunds are based on the date that the Registrar receives the request.
Refund as detailed below:

Before the season starts (see note)      Full Refund;
 
On or before October 31st                     2/3 refund of registration fee paid minus HEO Hockey Fee;
 
On or before November 30th                 1/3 refund of registration fee paid minus HEO Hockey Fee; and
 
After November 30th                             NO REFUND, see exceptions below.

Note: The season is considered started for the player as soon as they step onto the ice for any GPMHA sanctioned ice to include (but not limited to) conditioning ice, sort/tryouts, clinics, etc. 
 
If fees were paid via credit card, then the fees will be returned to that card, if fees were paid via EMT, then a cheque will be raised and mailed to the address on the player’s file, all registration refunds will be less the mandatory player fee paid to Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO). 

HEO Hockey Fees are:  $10.70/child


Exception(s):

 
The GPMHA Executive will consider exceptions for any injury sustained during a sanctioned event on a case by case basis. The Member must submit the request for the exception to the GPMHA Registrar and provide a doctor’s note indicating the injury and date it was sustained.

If a player leaves the Association for any reason, written notification must be provided to the Registrar. Registered players transferring out to play in another Association will receive refunds. The GPMHA does not transfer fee payments to other organizations.
