We are running full steam ahead with our conditioning program and our first rep tryouts (U13 and U15) starting next week. We have almost 400 children registered for minor hockey in Petawawa, with most age groups either full or near full.
Our hockey program does not run without volunteers. We critically need a U13 convenor to run the U13 House League division for Petawawa. We also only have 1 head coach application for each of U13 and U15. Without more support, sort outs will not start on time after the rep tryouts are finished for those age groups, which will delay the start of their house league program.
Remember, you can signal your interest to coach even if your child is at tryouts for rep. The coach list is not shared between directors but allows our House Director Tracy to quickly contact any remaining interested coaches once releases have been made to offer them a team.
